...CPU stands for Central procesing Unit which talks about the main chip, the Processsor. The CPU does not store infomation, thats the Hard Drive. If the CPU is "dead" then 1) you did something worng 2) You can easly get he data by moving the HDD into a new pc Yes...I hate it when people make pc mistakes  Dub |

That was rude. He was talking about the HD. I saw him post about it in another thread. When he said CPU he was just refering to him computer in general. Instead of pointing out someone's mistake you could just ask them somethintg like, "Did you mean the hard drive?"
