I've got me own house, Been livin thar fer 7 years, took me 5 o' those years ta make it the way I wanted it.
New Paint in all the rooms and hallways
Installed a Heat Pump(tha's electric heat & cool ta all you who don' know)
Finished me basement, studded up the walls, ran electric, cable, phone lines, raised the floor, laid carpet, painted the walls, lol.
Built a deck on the back o' the house
An now, me wifes' puttin' in gardens, lol.
Sure takes alot o' work ta run a house, but it was worth every bit o' it.

I love doing stuff like that to people's house. I've got to do stuff like that before. The last thing I did was in a trailer, we came in behind some "contractor". Well, we had to pull up the carpet ply wood everything. We had to re-embrass the eyes, put new wood down then we installed hard wood flooring. We put in new counter tops sinks al that sutff.

Oh yeah, we also got to put in new inslation, that was a bit annoying this lady wanted like a whole roll put in a like 5x10 area like maybe foot deep area. We're like look lady we don't me a whle roll here! She loved her insalation.

Dylan, Ya outta put in styrofoam, its a better insulator, and also provides sound-proofing. I installed 1 1/2 inch styrofoam in me basement an its quieter, an' it holds a temperature of 68 degrees year round.

Ahh! ic ic, some people seem ta think tha' fiberglass insulation is the best stuff, even though it does na gives as nice a protection as the others.

I've remodeled several houses and built two from the ground up. And yes, I have a lot of work ahead of me here. It's an old house and things are so far below current code it's unreal.
But it shall be done. LOL
