Hey guys, I have been through alot here. But here lately everything's been very crazy. I'm in love with my girl (Hannah), I'm giong to ask her to marry me soon as I get a ring, we've talked about it, she's already pretty much told me, she don't even care if I don't get her a ring, but I am because I want to do it right. So, I may not be here to much, But I really love her. I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I'm excited, but kind of nervous, even though I know she'll say yes i'm nervous.

She is right about about not being able to get married at 14. Only if you both have parental consent.

they arent telling thier parents so its gunna be an underground thing. dylan i think you should wait until you canatleast drive to see her once a week

you cant even do it underground. theyd have to get fake id's and have witnesses who arent related to either of them and are over 21. theres no point in rushing something when youve been together for what like 4 months.

The best job you can get is a paper route, or picking tobacco for minimum wage. Because of your age, you cannot work more the 30 hours a week...So that would be, what, like 200.00 a week???...Where are you going to live... An apartment??? Go ahead and find a 1 bedroom apartment for under 500.00 a month....then add in heat, and electricity.... Oh by the way... Your under 18, so legally, you cant have that type of bill in your name yet... It is the rules of the utility companies, not a government law....Plus, try to find a landlord that will rent to you... It wont happen....Now, you cant drive yet, so getting around will be tough....I mean there is public transportation, in most major cities, so you can use that.... I am sure it wont be to hard to carry your dirty laundry, you need to wash, onto the bus...Oh... and food....How will you feed yourselves... Raman noodles and hot dogs???... very nutritious....Now I guess you can go to the local food bank, but again, you have to be 18, to sigh up...Then you have to carry all that food on the bus...That is, of course if you get your parents to sign paperwork, saying that they are aware that at 14 years old, they felt you were capable of maintaining a successful life and relationship, and allowed you both to fend for yourselves, and suffer....I don't think so....Come on... I know you both may love each other, and that is great, but if you want your relationship to work, the best thing you can do for it, is NOT add anymore stress to it, by trying to be on your own to early. If it is meant to be, then it will be worth waiting for.... Oh, and how do I know?  ?? I was an emancipated minor at 14 years old. I had to live on peoples couches, because I was not old enough to get a job. Even though I had all the legal paperwork to back my issue up, ultimately, the employers, landlords, and utility companies denied working with me. I was cold, homeless at times (because I was to young to sign into a shelter to get help), and never knew where my next meal was coming from. At 14 years old...And that was just me.. what if there was another person to help take care of, or god forbid, I was pregnant....What would I do then... I may sound brutal, but I just don't want other people going through what I did. It is not worth it. If you and this girl are meant to be, then it will wait...It will be worth the wait, and you will have a better grasp on taking care of each other, and making a positive attempt at it...The way you are thinking of right now, is like walking into quicksand...Please just think about what I said. |

I would make a long post about the whys and why nots ...but saf kinda made most of the points i would have and some i hadnt realy thought about ..
Not meaning to sound harsh here either ( as ive only just gottenback here) but like the lyrics of a song
ONLY FOOLS RUSH IN (I think it was UB40)
Sadly real life isnt a fairy tale....you cant live on love and happiness ( well you can but only for 2 weeks and thats a suffering agonising death...) and at this time of the year , being on the streets is far from fun (Saf and Me both know that road only to well)
