GuildM vs. Ninja

[Raistlin]

~From a grand balcony in the center of a large arena, decorated with the coat of arms of the Demon Guardians, an man in black robes steps up to the podium to address the audience.~

"To all in attendance here. I give you the 1-on-1 battle between 2 of our own Demon Guardian clansmen. I am Raistlin, judge of this tournament. Without further adieu here are the participants."

~A large steal gate opens up. A talk man with a huge sword on his back steps out into the view of the audience.~

"On this side is a man who goes by the name, Guts. Not much is known of him. He has just recently started being a valiant member of the community. He has the sword and a repeating cross bow for weapons. Now on the other side."

~The same kind of gate opens opposite the other. The darkness flows from it and a silver man appears out of nothing, then it seems oddly like the darkness itself steps back out of the arena.~

"We have, NinjaM. A cyborg from another world. Kind of wimpy looking, but he has made a couple appearances in the past. He carries an odd katana for a weapon."

~The noise in the arena begins to get too loud for Raistlin to hear himself. He reaches his hands up to the air and lets out lightning from his fingertips creating a crash in the sky so loud everyone becomes silent.~

"Patience, people. The blood, or oil, will be shed in due time. I must set the ground rules now. NO TELEPORTING AT ANYTIME IN ANY WAY! If for any reason you do something that makes you not visible to the audience and myself you will forfeit the match. You can use anything you have on you, but no summoning things to fight for you. This is a match between you 2 only. Each post is to explain your action towards your opponent. The next person then posts to say what he does to counter his opponent and retaliate. You will be graded on how you respond to each attack. Make it worth while to the audience and you'll win.

"NOTE TO THE AUDIENCE: Do not interfere with the match. Comments will be allowed to post as soon as I call the end of the match. I would like it if nobody posts anything till it's over. If you have comments please make a new thread here, or in the tavern.

"With that finished and out of the way there is only 1 thing to say. LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!!!!"

Adrenaline rushes to his every muscle. Guts flies towards Ninja with his gigantic sword coming down on top of him.

(Let me know via PM if that looks like what you're talking about, Raist. As far as an aplicable post that is.)

::Ninja sees his oponent lunge towards him. Tilting to the right he swings his blade up over his head. Placing his left arm under his blade to amplify the strength of the block he pushes his entire body to the left knocking Guts to the side. Now Guts' back is to Ninja giving him a clear shot. With one swift motion Ninja flings his blade up Guts' back.::

"You should stratagize before facing an opponent as skilled as I am."

"You shouldn't waist time talking."

~Not noticing Guts' left hand pointed right at NinjaM. His machanical left hand has the repeating cross bow attached to it. Five arrows fire at point blank range right into NinjaM's stomach. With his right hand he's pouring a pouch of fairy dust over his wound healing it. Then rolls away from his opponent to reload his cross bow. Gripping his sword with both hands he readys himself.~

[NinjaM]

*Kaplink, kaplink, kaplink, kaplink, kaplink*

::All five arrows stuck him in the stomach, and broke.::

"I'm made of metal, imbical. You have nothing that can penatrate me from a distance. Me on the other hand.."

::Ninja's forearm opened to drop a throwing knife into each hand and imidiately threw them right at Guts.::

~Twisting to the side, Guts turns himself so that his side faces Ninja as to be shielded by his sword. One knife hits the sword directly. The other goes past the sword clinking off his shoulder plate of his armour. Then he drives the tip of his sword into the ground. Pulling it up as he pushes forward causes a large cloud of dust to explode up in between them. With the dirt clouding his moves he makes a masive arched swing up into Ninja.~

::With a twitch of his feet, Ninja jumps up, but not fast enough to fully avoid the blow. See it get closer her decides to do something about it. He closes his feet together grabbing the sword on the sides of the blade. Shifting his weight he uses his new position to pivot backwards like his feet were bolted to Gut's sword. As he swung back he had his sword out in front of him ready to impale Guts through the heart.::

~Seeing Ninja swinging down like that told Guts what he needed to do. Since he was already putting a lot of force into the swing his best action here was...... to let go. Opening his hands caused his sword to fly up and behind him taking Ninja with it. The sword flew all the way over to the other side of the arena impaling into the wall dropping Ninja to the floor. Guts turned and and fired off another volley of arrows at Ninja then quickly reloaded.~

[NinjaM]

::The arrows were snatched out of the air with the speed only a cyborg could exert. He then crushed them in his hand and put his hand over his face. He moved his index finger up and his eye changed color to a light blue.::

"Wind beam!"

::A blueish laser shot from his eye with wisps of wind swirling around it like razors shooting out of the beam itself.::

~Branishing his sword Guts gripped it tightly and readied himself. When the beam as on top of him he swung his sword into the beam splitting it and scattering the beam off to his sides.~

"Ha. Not that bad, but I'm not done trying to puncture holes in you."

~Guts leaps up and heads for Ninja. He fires off another volley of arrows and reloads just in time to leap in the air with both hands on his sword.~

[NinjaM]

::Ninja reaches back behind him to recover his blade that he put away while he fired his beam. The arrows hit his side without doing any damage. His sword came to life in a horror of black energy. One swift slash deflected Guts' sword and threw him off to the side. Spinning the sword in his hgand, Ninja readied to stab down his blade right through Guts.::

~Guts just smiled. He pulled a cord that comes up from the mechanical arm of his. His left hand dropped limply off the wrist reveling a barrel. A blast of plasma energy roared out engulfing Ninja in the blast. When the blast subsided there were many spots on Ninja's body that the plating had been destroyed. That was because the last two volleys of arrows were filled with acid. The areas of his body that the arrows hit were eaten away by the acid and the blast tore through the weakened areas. His right hand that caught the first set, some of his face when he touched it while firing the laser, and his side were now damaged. Rolling to the side Guts held up his sword ready to finish it.~

[NinjaM]

::The blast knocked Ninja back. Falling on the ground he reached for his foot. He removed the soul of his foot to retreave his repair kit. Seeing Guts ready to finish him off Ninja waved his hand making the shadows surround Guts. Being blinded in the dark gave Ninja a chance to activate hit repair kit. Nanites crawled out and used the minerals around him to begin reconstructing his missing plates. As they continue doing that Ninja comands the shadows to pulverize him.::

~With the shadows lashing out at him, Guts kept swinging his sword and dispersed the darkness. He saw Ninja getting repaired and shot another volley of arrows as he lunged at Ninja with sword at the ready.~

::The arrows hit the nanites and were absorbed to be used for the repairs. Ninja's eye swirled and turned red. He moved his hand carefully to his eye and shot a beam of fire just as Guts dropped down on top of him::
