Tiber's leg's carried him into the study, where upon finding a clean spot on the floor he plopped down. The boy's head swirled as he felt his posture sinking into the floor. With every passing second of thought, it became more apparent that he was in over his head. The Gods? Handling life itself as if it were nothing? These were things he had never imagined he would be dealing with, yet here he sat in the archmagus's study, with his master looking down at the blue robbed student who sat on the floor. What a sight it must have been. "Pitiful" had to have been Raistlin's oppinion of Tiber. The boy snapped out of his self-defeating transe as the steam of warm water rose into his nostrils. The serving mage had placed a cup of tea in front of the student at Raistlin's beckoning. Looking up, the young boy saw a coy grin flash across his master's often mild expression. It was a face of knowledge. A face that had seen years of experience, and was considering at that moment exactly how much the reckless and overwhelmed boy in front of him deserved to know. All of this Tiber could tell with certainty. The Archmagus was a difficult person to read, nearly impossible most of the time, but when he felt superior to someone in knowledge, be it an enemy or a friend, that grin always popped up. "So" Tiber took a moment to blow on his tea, breaking the steady flow of the upward steam. "You have me baffled Archmagus. I understand the nature of the spell well enough, however it is that crumb of knowledge that tells me you are the only one who can do a damn thing to help me. Unfortunately I am not strong enough yet to take what knowledge I want from you and correct the situation myself." The boy lifted the slowly cooling cup to his lips and let the liquid to flow in. He had to force the drink down. The bitter taste had betrayed the sweet smell, dragging and clawing at his throat all the way down. Gritting his teeth and making a subtle cough, Tiber once again spoke. "So Archmagus, I shall stop trying to take things into my own hands in the matter. It is clear that this is your issue to resolve, should you choose to. My bounds have been overstepped, and for that I apologize. But I do ask, if you cannot solve this problem, would you be kind enough to teach me the stop spell that I desire? If you memorized one side of the paper, then I would think that the side I wish is also somewhere locked in that memory of yours."

<Just as Raist was getting ready to talk with Tiber the student that brought the hot water was leaving. Then the door flung open violently, knocking the student over. Morge raced into the room. Upon seeing YungGun in the corner Morge bore, and grit his teeth. He turned to Raistlin and approached him.>
"I was getting a group of trainees together for a practice session when I found all the gear rusted. There was a foot of water in the armory cellar. Apparently that disrespectful little worm there was practicing water magic and made a mess down there."
<Morge snapped a look at YG again then turned back to Raist.>
"I want him bound! Either that, or I will chain him in a cell and I'll need you to put a spell on the cell stopping him from being able to use magic at least there."

~As the door flew open, Yung Gun slowly looked up from his book. When he saw it was Morge, a big grin came across his face. He then put his book down to the side and looked at Morge~
~When Morge finished talking Yung Gun laughed a little~
"Now why would you come in here and disrupt the archmagus studies? You know you have to knock before coming in"
~Yung Gun stopped to laugh a little more~
"Anyways why would I want to mess up your armor? That is just a waste of my time and too much work......and whoever did rusted your gear did you a big favor.......I mean how can someone as weak as you train soilders!? You would have them all killed on the first day!"
~Yung Gun smiled to himself in triumph~

~Raist smashed his fist on the stone table. Light flashed and a rousing crash thundered through the room. Lightning sparked from the table under his fist. Everything went quiet.~
"Would you ladies take your gripes somewhere else. I am tired, and if you hadn't noticed I'm deep into a training session. Leave now, or I'll put you both in the same cell and bind it."
~Raist rolled over into a fit of coughing. He wiped his mouth with his sleeve. Taking a cup of hot water from the low level student he pored a few herbs from a pouch into it. The smell was foul, the taste even worse, but the relief was unmatched. His coughing ceased and he gave out a sigh. He looked up at Morge and Yung Gun.~
"Didn't I just tell you two to leave?"

Zeke walked into Raist's study.
"Hello...Old friend."
Standing there in black robes that hid all but his face. But his face was covered with a mask, only showing his eyes.

"Not now, Zeke. Tiber and I have buisness to attend to. Go play with YungGun before Morge looses his cool."
~Raist went to the shelf and retrieved a jar of water from the very top shelf.~

"why would I play with that annoying twit. i have no real interest in the kid...save it is amusing when morge gets irritated by the boy.."
-he looked at morge closely because zeke knew that it was only a matter of time before the two apprentices would start to fight..and then he would have to break it up.. he didnt want poor old raisty's work to be bothered.-

"Enough! Tiber, join me in my quarters."
~Raist flew past everyone and tugged on Tiber's robes to point him in the right direction. Tiber followed. Raist slammed shut the door and scrawled his finger across the wood placing a wizard's lock on the door as to not be disturbed.~
"Alright. Here's the deal."
~He walked over to a desk in the corner of his room. Tiber followed and stood next to him. Raist placed the jar of water on the desk. Up near the rim was a visible symbol extruding from the glass. It was the symbol of Chronos.~
"This jar was one of the first artifacts of the Chronos art. It is used to transport things without the passage of time disturbing it. I used this to retrieve some of the Chronos stream in its pure, unrecorded state. It is like a blank sheet of parchment waiting to have life written on it, but not anymore. The page that contains your stop spell has a time steal spell on it's opposite side. The spell works more to erase memory of certain moments in lives, but I enhanced it and stole the entire lives of the two mages who opposed me. Then I used this water to capture their stolen lives and hold them in thrall."
~Looking closely at the water in the jar it was apparent that the water had ripples in it, but no movement. Raist stared daggers at Tiber to steal his attention from the jar.~
"With your help there is a way to fix this without erasing their existence. I can connect us with their life steams in this jar, but in order to make things move I'll have to spend all my chronos magic towards moving their time along it's path. I can't be sure when I'll project us into their time stream, but I'll aim for before I..... borrowed the book. It will be up to you to manipulate time and just keep them from witnessing me leave with the book. If that happens then I'll never have to use that spell, I won't rip out the page, they won't be a bother to me, you will get to continue your training and we'll both be able to go on with our lives."
~Raist looked deep into Tiber's eyes to ensure he understood the instructions.~

<Enraged by the insults of YungGun Morge lunged at him with his sword bared. He impaled the blade through the scruff of YG's robes and barried the blade all the way to the hilt in the wall behind him. The hilt was also around YG's throat pinning it against the wall.>
"You insolent little prick! I was specially hire into this kingdom to protect these walls. The soldiers here are the most well trained in the land. I spend the most time on watch then anyone else. Who do you think you are to question my skills."
<As his rage built purple lightning arched from his blade and eyes.>
"You may not have meant to damage the gear, but playing with water around steel will damage it, but I sure you're too stupid to understand that. I think you'd be properly disciplined by having to polish all the gear. I'm sure we have plenty of fish oil for the task."
<Morge was so involved with confronting YungGun that he didn't even notice Raist leave the room.>
