I know what you mean, I have noticed that people come just for the join pack and then leave. DAMN IT! I can't stand people like that! We didn't have join packs when I joined, I joined because I heard htat DG had a good rep and good people willing and able ot help. That was enough to draw me in!

I came because I was invited, I didn't care about the items it just seemed like a good clan to me.
And maybe a few of the newbs got scared off by YG's initiation?

lol, maybe, maybe but i joined because i was a newb... and u guys helped me a lot before i even joined... then i died a lot... got pissed.... SF quit... then i quit... (mainly because SF was rly the one helping me out) i had a lvl 26 character... but i lost the pw and my e-mail was skrewed up... but now im back.... with a join pack and all  BUT I STAYED!!! enough of me going on and on...
