Since when did Green Day save punk? They were fine, but then they released American Idiot, which is a horrible album! I live in your basement, I'm going to take out your Green Day cds.

LINKIN PARK!!!! well they may not be punk, but they are changing the world by far... Mike (rapper) brought a lot of fans with him to support LP. Chester (screamer) made a solo album which brought in a lot of fans aswell. LP is back with a new cd and sorry YG but it's not a rap album. It's like their first and third cd combined. (The reason I say third is because I count reanimation as there second album.) So a cross beween Hybrid Theory and Meteora also with a special screamo heavy feel to it. It's going to kick ass!!! I've already heard some songs from limewire. If any of you have heard the new song "Giving In", that isn't on the new album... Thats part of Chesters solo album along with "The Morning After" and "Faded". The new songs that I've heard are "Qwerty (Behind your lies)" and "Body Crumbles". Whoever uses a music downloading program needs to download these songs they kick ass guys!!!

Linkin Park = good band (sorta)
there 1st CD was AMAZING...one of the best CD's ever, eveyrthing else sucked after that and they went touring w/ metal bands...so yea...

Meteora did not suck!!! It was just like hybrid Theory (the first cd) The only thing that was sorta different was the guitar strings. Also another song I forgot to mention for Chesters solo album is "State of the Art". Good Song. Heavy!

ok let me sum up this thread (the spamming part  Punk Rock owns Blink 182, Sum 41 and The Clash (all awesome punk bands) The Ramones started the Punk Rock Revolution and Green Day saved it. JC |

Take that back SF!!! LP is what keeps me alive and that is no joke. Call me stupid or gay or whatever, but LP means everything to me... And their new stuff is coming out shortly JC and it's much better then their first album I promise you.

LP is a good band, though I liked their older stuff better, I don't think i've heard most of their newest stuff.
