The forest was Dark as I ran through it. Something fallowed me, but I couldn't see through the shadows. I stoped to take a breath as an arrow strikes my leg, forcing me to fall to my knees. The pain was so overwhelming that I could no longer move. I was stuned in a crouching position. Then, from up in the trees, darted another arrow that pirced my shoulder. I felt the blood rush out of my body as I slowly grew weaker. I fell onto my back. I gazed up at the partly hidden sky. The moon took on a tent of red. I felt my blood, both warm and cold, run through my veins. I closed my eyes as the darkness consumed my body.....
After a long while I opened my eyes and saw the bright blue sky. The sun shined on my face as I shielded my eyes with my left hand. Dazed and Confused I try to stand. I felt unusually weak. My head was pounding as I tried to think about what had happend. Then the memory hit me. I was running from this figure. This dark shadowy figure. Was it only a dream? It couldn't have been because the arrows were still stuck in my body. I pulled out the one in my leg, then the one in my shoulder. I didn't die from loss of blood because the arrow was lodged in so deep that it blocked the blood form escaping. I still felt very week as I stummbled to leave the forest. Who was after me? and why? These questions were better left unanswered because i'm in great danger from this thing that wish to kill me for unknown reasons and I wouldn't want to go looking for those capible of killing me.
I needed to go into town and buy some herbs and a room at the INN to rest up and heal whatever damage my body has taken.
Walking into town I saw average people just wondering about their lives. It was then that a group of knights rode in from the North. They stopped in front of the INN, hopped off their horses and went inside. There were only about six of them. They each had a picture of a demon on their shields with their name painted on it. I fallowed them into the INN since I needed a place to lay my head anyway.
Once I entered I saw them sitting down at the bar. I stayed close to listen in on their conversation. They appeared to be knights knowed as The Demon Guardians. They came into town for shelter because the next day they planed on returning back to the castle from a journey they had recently embarked. They went on a quest to find the finest knights to join them at their side. The King needed reinforcements. No names were mentioned except a wicked wizard named Azhra'shem. He is a powerful sorrcorer who is a threat to The Demon Guardians. The Demon Guardians are stocking up to fight a battle that couldn't be won without the right amount of soldiers and equipment.
I listened in until one of the knights came in contact with my spying eyes. I quickly turned away and walked toward the front desk. The knight eyed me weiringly. I bought a room for the night and walked up the stairs to enter it. The first thing I did was fall upon the bed and wonder, what if I could join the brotherhood of The Demon Guardians? Maybe I could use them to protect me from whomever wishes me dead. I thought more and more of this as I drifted asleep...

~The morning air couldn't enter easily in the hovel that passes for a hotel around here. As clear of a day as any had seen, yet shadowed to this man who runs from a hidden foe. The day is just breaking and the sun is creeping along the floor. As the man in bed open his eyes for with the rising of the morning sun he watches the light illuminate his room. Just one corner remains untouched. He can watch as the rising sun eliminates the remainder of darkness in the room, but never in his heart.~
*What's this?*
~Must have run through his mind as he sees a figure become visible in the corner. A man adorned in a black robe now stands in the corner.~
"I do not wish you any harm" it exclaims.
~His head turns just enough to allow a little light into his hood. His skin is metallic in color. A bronze, or maybe even goldish color. But those eyes! Why are they shaped like an hourglass?~
"What is your name, wounded one?"

~People started to stare as an elf was walking into town. He was a small, thin fellow, with a bow and two swords straped to his back. He was weiry, but he walked upright and tall to look as strong as possible. He looked at every sign in the town, peering in and out of shop windows. Viewing any items availible in his line of site.~
~As he stumbled by the Inn, he did as he did with the other shops and peered inside. A ghast of amazment went over him as he saw some knights sitting at the bar. There seemed to be around four of them, but the elf couldnt tell, he could only see part of the inn.~
~He walked inside and to see that there were six knights, all sitting at the bar, talking and laughing with each other. They looked symetric to each other, all with similar outfits and shields. As the elf looked closer he noticed a dragon on each shield. As the elfs memory fails him to where these knights are from he decides to go ask.~
~As he makes it to one of the knights he opens his mouth, but nothing comes out. He stops and thinks that they may be evil. Not every knight is good in this land, as the elf has found out the hard way, running and hiding from certain encounters. That is why this elf is in this village and not the woods. Too tired to recall any of the 'things' that chased him in the woods he decides to turn away from the knights and call it a day.~
~He goes over to the desk and grabs a key. As he walks up the stairs he hears two people confronting each other. To him it's just two travelers on some stupid journey, but as he gets closer he hears that the tone of the voice that is talking is not that of one that knows the person.~
~He passes by the room without confrendation, but figures he may talk with them later.~
"Its been a boring month, I'll see what they're up to later." The elf says to himself. "But for now i need some god damn sleep, too tired from those 'things' chasing me today"
~The elf opens the door to his room and quietly shuts it behind me, trying to make as little noise as possible, not to arouse any attention from fellow visitors. He places his arrows and his bow on the table farthest left of his bed, and places the swords on the table next to him...just incase.~

He appeared to be a priest but....there was something strange about him, something that kept the towns people out of his way as he walked slowly through the town, lost in thought.
He looked like a priest in most ways, maybe it was the strange design of his robes, the symbols upon it that did not seem of this world. Perhaps it was the faint stain of blood on his robes, whatever it was, they stayed away.
He wandered troughout the ton seeming to not even have a destination, until he came to the Inn. There he turned to go in, than there was a tug on his robes. There was an old beggar on the ground obviously sick and nearing his death.
"Please sir, can you spare something for me? I am too sick and old to do work anymore."
The beggar looked up at him with a pleading look, as the priest looked down at him. He made a quick hand sign in the air and formed his palms into a praying position.
"I have not money to give you but I can help you in a greater way"
He whispered a prayer silently to him self and as he did so a white light surrounded the begger, as t dispersed one could se a definite change, his old weary muscles were now strong again, and there was life anew.
"Now go and find work, and live a peacful life"
He bowed once before entering the Inn leaving the beggar in shock.

keeping the covers over himself, he grips his sword by his side. He is unsure weither the hooded stranger is telling the truth when he says he brings no quarll with him. He looks into the oddly shaped eyes of the stranger and says.
"My name is Scott... Scott Zanzabar"
Once my name was said the man noded his head. Scott rose from his bed and stood before the hooded fellow.
What neither of them saw was a shadow in the top left corner of the room. It's eyes glowed red as it listened for more of what these two men had to say.

~Raist senses something near. His head tilts left, then right. He looks out the window without moving from his corner.~
"A foul stench comes our way." he explains.
~Looking at Scott he sees his sight flick over head. With a slow cock of his head, Raist then smiles at Scott.~
"Don't mind him. He's with me. Doesn't like being left at home."
~With a flick of his hand he becons it, "You may leave us." And it vanishes.~
"I don't have much time now, it seems. On your night stand you'll find a pouch. It's consintrated fairy dust. Heals wounds very quickly. I can see your wounds still need tending to. I know of the assailents in the woods. Sadly, I can not kill them. The reason is not for you to worry yourself over. The stench is nearing us. He is in the tavern now...."
~In respons to the look on Scotts face, Raist explains.~
"You see, I'm a black robed mage. There seems to be a priest of some sorts in the building. I must not come in contact with one of it's kind. I'm sure it senses me as well. If you find it in your interest to revisit said woods I'll be there. You won't see me though."
~Placing his hand in a pocket of his robes, Raistlin vanishes. A faint echo can be heard in his wake.~
"I'm not a friend, but friends can be found where you least expect them."

~The elf jerks his head up so fast that its almost a blur seeing him jump. He grabs his sword and slowly opens the door. It creaks and rubbs against the floor, something he didnt notice when he came in. The noise is somewhat annoying, but he ignores it, that is not what is on his mind.~
~He walks outside and sees a door open down the hall. It seemed to be the place where he heard those voices, but he doesnt remember, he's too tired to remember, he doesnt want to remember.~
~As he approaches the door he lifts his sword in one hand and looks through the slight opening of the door. He sees nothing and hears nothing, and he wonders if it was anything at all. He was tired and was probably just hearing things. The elf nears the door so that he's up against it. He takes one more glance in and then listens.~
~Wind goes through his head and the sounds of men laughing and a bard playing in the bar of the inn is all that he hears. The elf turns around and figures that its nothing, but has the curiosity that something was or still is in that room. He stops and turns back at the door, and decides that curiosity kills the cat...not the elf.~
~He opens the door slowly and can see someone sitting on a bed. Maybe it was the wrong room, maybe it's something he imagened. He thinks about it, but decides that he's intruded this person long enough that he might as well open the door fully.~
~To his surprise its just a man sitting on his bed.~
"I'm very sorry, but i heard a wisp of a noise that might have came from this room. Something evil, i dont know. Are you alright, im sorry to bother you."
~He stares at the man for a moment. His wounds clearly visible, and the elf sees that they are not just minor wounds.~
"I'm sorry, but i cannot heal those wounds. I have the power to, but only to minor scrapes and gashes."
~He just stares at the man, the elf doesnt know if he should leave, or try to start a conversation.~
"What is your name my friend?" the elf says to the man sitting on the bed

~Yung Gun makes walks into the town and looks around. He feels his throat get dry and walks to the nearest tavern. As he walks, he can feel the eyes of people on him and hears people whisper about why he has a robe all over his face and i think thats him.~
~He walks into the tavern. He notices the knights and feels a shiver go down his bones.~
*this should be intresting*
~Yung Gun walks pasts the knights and acts as if they're not there. They turn their heads and looks at him. Yung Gun sits a seat away from the crowd. He then waves for a waitress to come over.~
"May I take your order sir?" she says.
"Yeah...........give the strongest drink you got" Yung Gun says.
~He waves the waitress off. He then leans back in his chair so that all you can see in his face was his grin.~

Scott stares at the elf confused because the hooded man that had just visited him startled him a bit. Scott tries to stand up, but just ends up falling to one knee. The Elf rushs to help, but Scott beckons him back. Scott grabs the dust from the bag, on the table just left of the bed, and sprinkles it on his wounds. In a few seconds his body turned to light as the wounds were instently healed.
With a shrug, Scott looks back at the elf supprised that the magic powder worked so well. He then responds to the elf's question, "My name is Scott Zanazabar, but I'm afraid thats all I must tell you."
Scott then cracks his neck and stretches his arms, feeling 100% from his grand recovery. He walks towards the door as the elf steps aside.
"I'm off to seek someone, so i bid you good day"
With that being said Scott nods his head and leaves the room and walks down the steady hallway towards the Stairwell.

*Argolis walks through the woods searching for the beast that killed his brother. He feels the beast's preasance but was unable to locate it this night. He walks along the path to town as he sees farms pop up just outside the woods, a little futher he saw a town. Agolis makes his way to the inn and enters. As he entered he could feel the hate these people had for his kind. As he ask for a room some Knights look up and walk over to him.*
May I help you? the knight asked.
Just getting a room no trouble here. *he could see the mans hate for him and grabed his key and went to bed.*

:Waiting in the trees, Guts watches someone, or something, wander through the forest. Eventually that person left and went to the near by town.:
"Another one has left. It's good that they have started to understand to keep their distance. I try to just shoot them in the arm, or leg, but I'll kill them if they go to far."
:Moving quickly, like a bolt of lightning, he jumps from tree to tree. Ever watchfull of what is around him. All the sudden the shadows begin to move.:
*Not again. Why can't they leave me alone?!*
:Odd figures become visable to him in moving darkness. Just then the brand on his neck begins to bleed. He draws his sword to scatter the darkness from his vision.:
"I won't let anyone in here! You can't have anyone else!!"
:The dark images are blown away like the wind as his sword slices through the nothingness.:

~The elf stares in confusion as the man, Scott, exits the room. The elf just stands there and wonders what's going on. He wonders why the man is leaving, and why he doesnt stay for a few moments.~
"What is he doing that he had to leave me here?" The elf asks himself
~He peers out the door and looks both ways down the hallway. After some thought he goes back to his room, grabs his bow and his other sword, and walks down the stairwell.~
"Whatever this man's up to, its sure to be more fun then this..." The elf says to himself
~He looks for Scott at the inn and decides to follow him.~
"A mini-adventure I guess" The elf whispers. He puts his hood on and walks with Scott

The priest sat at the bar of the Inn watching everyone as they passed, listining to their conversations, none really interesting him. He glanced at the knights for a second and turned away once more.....they would be of no use to him. As any came he mentally acessed them determining weather or not he should acknowledge them.
He sighed as all of this bored him........perhaps it was time for some fun, it wouldn't hurt to summon something from midgard now would it? Perhaps something minor like a zombie master, of course there was more fun in fighting a doppelganger..............decisions decisions............
He continued to watch everyonre one as he tried to decide what would be best to summon upon these people, maybe one of them could actually do something, perhaps not, it didn't really matter to him.

~Yung Gun starts to snap his fingers. Each time he snaps his fingers a spark comes out. He continues to watch the priest and snap.~

~The woods were extra dark now that the sun was up. Raistlin finds himself in the comfort of a small grove of trees just a few feet from the forest itself. Waiting.~
*I can see you* he thinks to himself, trying hard not to transmit his thoughts. *You move swiftly, but my eyes see what you can't hide, your fear.*
