Im sorry im old, so my best rpg is from years gone by, it was called Darklands ( very good character creation, tons of skills, and each type of skill was well balanced into the game, gameplay was great, plot was awsome , it was just lacking in the looks department, but rpg games have really changed some, even though i liked diablo and diablo2 , fallout an fallout2 , as well as the icewind dales and baldures gate game, in the end they were just too easy for me,. i mean yeah bladurs was a great game, but didnt really take long too get al the ways too the final battle, there have been games from my past ( rpg of course ) were ive played em for months and months, and still only gotten about 5% of the ways through. might and magic was quite good, pants graphics but a good rpg though. Nox was just a baby rpg game took me a whole one day too complete.
Mind you i am a relic and have been playing rpg games for well since i was a teenages about 15

yes i have to say that the rpg games right now are too easy to beat! i mean games like FF may take a long time to beat but about anyone can beat them. right now i am challenging myself...im beating diablo 2 on solo! have u ever done that krondore?

ive completed diablo , and completed diablo2 on all three difficulty setting on solo and online hehe, the best char i had was a barberian level 69. he was the one that helped too kill diablo on the hardest setting hehe, took ages too get all that way though.
I also liked the ways that diablo2 had a place for playing hacked chars , and the place for non hacked as well. sweet game, sadness for me is that i no longer have that game , i got a little into the add on.
I love rpg games and over the years have played quite a few, ive played a lotr rpg on the ps2, was good but again pretty easy. why cant they just do a revamp of an old rpg game, but up the graphics big time. hehe. darksun was also pants in graphics but was a sweet game. old like me though. about 1991
( ohhhh 4 stars now hehe )

My current favorite rpg is Ragnarok, that game kicks ass, it's not too easy and it's not short cause it never ends
