*JC after finished his drink walks to the window as well to see if he notices anything, he sees nothing but then says to Shadow*
"Lets go back up to Riastlins office and see if they have made progress."
*JC and Shadow leave the tavern. On thier way up they up they run into SForce and Riast.*
"Was that your magic my fair leader?" JC asks
*Rist nods his head and JC seems stunned but also relieved that they will have time to regroup everyone and forumlate a plan*

*Shadow hung back a bit in Raist's office, glancing about at the shelves of books lining the room. He scanned over a few of the titles before settling his attention upon the clan leader.*
Do we have a priest at all?

*SForce turned and looked at the two companions that just walked in the door. He turned back to Raist's desk and he was back, reading his book as if he never left.*

"I bought us some time. Shadow, update us all on what these are and what needs to be done. Feel free to use any of the book here to further explain the situation if you see one of help."

*Shadow glanced at Raistlin for a moment, then went back to scanning the volumes lining the walls. He finally spied one that he was familiar with, and knew it would have the information he sought. Pulling the tome from its place on the shelf, he moved to a podium book-stand and opened the cover, quickly scanning through the pages. Finally, he settled on a page and read for a moment.*
I believe these creatures are a form of wraith. They are generally long-dead humans that have not passed on to the next realm. Their entire being consists of rage and hatred for the living. Most of the time wraiths are tied to our world by some physical object. But, with as many as could be in those woods, I know not what that object might be.
Do any of you know of any ancient dwellings that existed in or around the forest?

*JC thinks but hasnt been the woods for quite some time. He thinks maybe Sforce knows it*
"SForce might know, but we could also look at and ask members of the castle that has been through those woods and saw anything that a dragon might latch onto"

"Ah, the forest....tis the greatest home i ever knew....." SForce said to himself, but loudly for everyone to hear. "Looks like we have to find an item in the woods to release them from this world. I personally don't know the item, but i will gladly guide everyone through the woods to find it."
"Welcome to my home everyone, hope you enjoy the trip in." SForce says with a grin
"Now, we must find a way to get the dwarf through the woods without being seen. I'm sure we're going to encounter many wraiths and we must deal with them accordinly. Thus fighting and fleeing, and repeating. We will be entering and leaving the forest so many times. We must take every precaution, we cannot stay in the forest with hopes of vanquishing them all, we will be killed instantaniously....well....i know the tricks to the forest, i pray you guys do too." SForce said to everyone in the room
*He looked to Raistlin at his desk and around at everyone else in the room.*
"Someone get me some holy water! We leave when the light is at its highest tomarrow. Come, we have no time to waste."
*SForce leaves the room without looking back, he doesn't wait for a reply, he goes to the edge of the forest and watches....listening to the screams and observes what has happened to his home.*

*Shadow accompanied SF out to the forest's edge. Finding a rock outcropping jutting from the ground, he settled himself, waiting for dawn.*

*JC looks at riast and says*
"im a dwarf how am i sopposed to know anything about the woods? i am an open road dweller not a forest, how can i help defeat the wriaths?"
*Riast throws JC a book. JC looks at it and its titled "Forest", he brings it into his quarters, then runs to the woods telling Shadow and SF that he will be in his quarters and he will be there to help the following evening.*
*Once back in his room, JC sits down and reads and becomes knowledgeable of the forest and realizes he has to become more quicker. But for a dwarf that is impossible, he reads on. He gets to the hiding and stealth, he has to just stay behind the tree and he shall be fine. But the tricky part is when he moves, that is where he can be seen.*
*JC goes down and buys a black tunic and he waits for the next nightfall to reunite with his partners*

*SForce looks to his left and then to his right. His two friends sat on either side. A dwarf, an elf and a Vampire look on to the forest, listening to all the frightful screams coming from within. Looking on to what might possibly be their doom.*
*The night wears thin on the trio and dawn approaches. SForce stands up and gives a subtle stretch pretending to loosen up.*
"Our time draws near my friends." SForce says in a calm voice. "We only have three people brave enough to venture in here? I'm glad they care about their homes.....I wish the best to both of you on this quest." SForce directs towards both of them
"And where the hell is my holy water."

*JC motions to a servent to go find holy water. The serveant leaves*
"We move through the forest as soon as the light penetrates through the trees i am presuming? I also wish you two luck on the dangerous task we have ahead of us"
*JC and the others wait till then to move on*

<The castle gates open as Morge walks towards the travelers. He hold out three packs.>
"These packs contain all you may need. I sent a rider from my armory with some gear to the Healer's Tower and asked Elden Bishop to bless some things. There's water, amulets to put around your neck and ointment to rub on your weapons to give them blessings. There's also healing items in case you get hurt. Hope you have a good journey and may the strength of the Demon Guardians be with you. I must stay and protect the castle."
<Morge bows to them as he turns and heads back in.>

*Shadow took the pack, opened it and rummaged through the contents. He pulled the mystical weapons salve and smeared a bit on his blade, glancing at his companions.*
I don't know if they're scared... maybe just motivationally challenged.
*He shown a grin to his comrades before standing. The sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon and he watched it, wondering again at his ability to stand in the sunlight as a vampire. Any other of his kind would simply burst into flame and become ash in a matter of moments.
And this thought began him questioning how much different his own breed was from the creatures within the forest, which also were destroyed by the light.
Shaking the thoughts of the blackness of his soul from his head, he took a few steps toward the forest, viewing things more clearly in the sunlight, and trying to find a place to begin their trek through the heavily wooded area.*

*Morge leaves. JC puts the amulet on, put the holy water on his belt and takes out the ointment and rubs it on his axe and shield.*
"Dawn is aprroaching fellows, we need to hurry"

*Shadow nodded. The time had come to venture into the forest. The morning's sunlight had driven the creatures away from the edges, and their wailing had died away more and more as the sun rose in the sky.*
