*Shadow nodded, shifting in his saddle. He allowed the other two groups to get a decent distance ahead before signaling his own troops to move out.
He played the upcoming battle through in his mind, coming up with solutions as he envisioned a possible problem. The scenario played before him as though he were watching something that had already happened, viewed through someone elsea eyes.
They came to the last bend in the road, and Shadow held his hand up, stopping the soldiers' march. Now, they would wait for the call of the cardinal.*

*JC signals his troops to go into the woods on the right and then he talks over the strategy with his men and he waits for the response from his men. They all nod thier head, fear in all of thier eyes, yet all of them had courage in them too. He tells them no matter what happens there will be a part of his heart that he will remember them. He then tells them that when the arrows fly they attack and try to get the beast down by chopping at the feet.*
"Now if there are two dragons split 4 and 4, men we can do it!"
*They wait for the arrows*

*SForce moves over to the left, taking his assassins into the rocky cliffs. They are high and if used properly can provide perfect cover. Then again these are the best assassins we have, they shouldn't even be seen by the dragon. Well we'll see how good our best assassins are then...*
*His group aligns along the rocks and gets into possition. SForce makes sure everyone is perfectly placed to attack, makes sure all the crossbows are properly manuvered and gives each assassin one.*
*SForce gets in possiton next to the smallest rock of the group. He places an arrow on his bow and aims it up. He takes one more look at the group he's controlling, nods in satisfaction and fires the arrow across the valley as fast as he could, hoping his commrades can see and the dragon cant.*

*JC is going over final instructions and one of his men points to the arrow and JC nods and he points to attack the fowl beast. JC takes the front with his men flanking around them. But once they go outside the woods they encounter the biggest thing they have ever seen. He keeps moving foward hoping that SF and Shadows group help distract the beast while his group takes swings at the feet.*
*JC knows that they must act quickly or another dragon will come and they will be outnumbered*

*Shadow heard the sudden sounds of battle and yelled for his troops to hustle double time into the village proper. They rounded the corner in a full charge, directly toward the massive beast just now rearing up before them.
The dragon was confused, having been hit from one side by an intense volley of arrows and various other projectile weapons, but not being able to see its attacker, the dragon only shifted its position a bit.
That's when it spied Shadow's force bearing down at it from a diagonal angle. The soldiers behind Shadow fanned out to the side, jabbing at the cracks in the drake's scales. Shadow locked eyes with the creature and smiled a cold, dead smile.
In a blur of motion, he was standing atop his horse, holding the reign in one hand as he drew his dagger from its place in the small of his back. Then, in one fluid movement, he leaped forward from the saddle, arching over the soldiers on the ground, and crashing into the beast's neck, driving the preternaturally sharp blade into the dragon's flesh up to the hilt.
The dragon flailed wildly as Shadow held onto the knife, allowing his weight to pull him downward, the dagger ripping a nasty gash down the monster's neck.
He finally yanked the dagger free during one of the violent whips of the dragon's neck, and went rolling to the side before coming up facing the dragon in a crouch, that wicked smile still playing at the corners of his mouth.*

-Zeke pulled back his bow string and then quickly released a fire arrow directly into the dragons eye, making it rear up in pain, and ten stomping back down, trying to destroy those closer.
Zeke smirked, wanting to see more destruction, and then floated a nice sized boulder, smashing it into the dragon, knocking it on its side, sending shards of rock, hitting those below.-

*JC leading his group in sees a multitude of arrows fly over him hitting the armored shield of the dragon, his scales repeatedly deflected off the dragon. His men were making scratch marks and irratating the dragon.*
"Keep going men! We are doing Great!" JC roared over the dragon roar
*He then sees a fire arrow, he doesnt know where it came from. He knows that it pered the eye of the dragon and before he can even give his men instructions he sees a boulder fly across the destroyed village and hit the dragon and making him fall*
"MEN! ATTACK! GET TO HIS CHEST!" JC instructed
*His men run over and get on the dragon trying to get to his heart, but as JC saw before they did the dragon sprang up and launched the men of the body and they re gouped with JC.
"men, its alright continue with our plan if we can get his feet scratched up enough then he cant walk and we can kill this foul beast!"
*JC motioned to attack agian*

*The dragon knew it was outnumbered, then, and reared its head back and issued an earshattering bellow to call its other companions. The rose echoed over the craggy mountains and across the landscape.
Shadow realized they were in a bad spot, now. The only hope that the warriors of DG had was to take down this behemoth and hide before the remaining drakes arrived. He sprang forward from his crouched position, dust and small pebbles falling from his clothing and wild mane as he moved. He came up underneath the beast and began slashing any part of it he could get to. He wasn't sure if his blood magic would work against so large and ancient an opponent, but he had to try.
He found a crack between the scales that one of JC's men had opened and drove his dagger upward, then twisted the blade. Wrenching the blade free, he recited a quick incantation to enact the poison now coursing through the dragon's blood.
There seemed to be no effect for a few minutes, but then, the dragon shuddered. It slowed momentarily, and its head dipped low as its own blood turned against it and begain to boil within its veins.*

*JC sees out of the corner of his eye sees Shadow charge towards the dragon. JC then attacks the feet of the dragon. Shadow jumps up from the ground and heaves his sword into the crack that his men had made. The dragons head falls and SHadow wispers to JC*
"Get out of the light and into the cospe of wood, he friends will be here shortly"
*JC motions to his men to go back into the woods, he gets behind his men to make sure all of them are in.
He praises SForce, Shadow and thier men because without them this dragon would have killed them all*

"I'm glad you got some fire left in you" SForce directs towards Zeke
*SForce turns to his group of men.*
"See how good we are, assassins, barely did anything and this beast is down." SForce smirked towards the others.
*A loud shriek is heard throughout the sky. SForce ducks down out of fear, but realizes shortly it's the death cry of the fierce dragon. Finally being slayed by the ground forces. He gets up and looks at the members in his platoon. Still standing behind their rocks, but visible for every one of them to see each other.*
*SForce looks to his other groups of clansmen and watch them move about on the valley below. He squints to get a better look at whats going on, the calm panic bestowed below him.*
"What are they doing? Why so fast?" SForce says to himself

*A cheer erupted from the ground troops as the dragon exhaled one last time and collapsed, lifeless, upon the ground. Shadow glanced around. They had only lost two men against this beast: one who had ventured too close to the whiplike tail, and another that had been trampled when the dragon had reared up. Not too bad.
He and JC ushered the men into the woods as quickly as possible, knowing that it was a matter of minutes before reinforcements arrived to aid the dragon.
He glanced to the crags where SF's men were stationed and was signalling them to take cover when he was clipped on the shoulder and hurled backwards to the ground by a second projectile boulder.
Dazed, and lying probe upon the ground, Shadow thought, "I will kill that fool throwing the rocks."
Regaining some of his senses, he followed the arc of the boulder's path through the air. But what he saw was no member of DG.
High atop a ridge, above and to the right of SF's position, were three hill giants, each with a stack of boulders beside them. One was just now picking up a huge stone to finish Shadow off.
That's when a large flying creature passed overhead, casting its black shadow directly over him. Shadow did not have to see the thing to know that the dragon's friends had come to help. He was on his feet and running in a matter of seconds. But the copse of trees was too far away to get to in time.
He knew the second dragon had circled around and was bearing down on him as he ran. Shadow was only 20 yards from the tree line when the drake's talons pierced his shoulder and yanked him up off the ground.
Using his undamaged arm, he slashed at the thing's foot and leg, but it was no use. The dragon carried him over the mountain ridge and put of sight of his companions.*

*JC seeing Chaos getting almost killed by the boulder, he thought it was Zeke who threw it by accident. But then he notices the ground becoming a huge shadow. The second dragon has came. JC hesitates to run out and save his partner but first makes sure all of his guys and Shadows guys are safe. He then sees the dragon swoop down and take Shadow from the ground. JC curses himself and tells all of his guys that we are now down the only person that knows everythign about these dragons. JC tells them to stay here and he is going to go up to SForce and ask him what to do.*
"Hey JC" says one man "what happens if another dragon comes?" *the other men mumble about it*
"Men, if the dragon comes stay hidden, do not let him see you and we will be fine. If and only if the dragon sees you get back and go further back into the copse. Do not leave the cospe. The Dragon will get you and you will die"
*JC tells them to hide. The men scatter and are hidden.
JC starts his trek to SForce. He looks out and sees the hill creatures. They are huge and are throwing boulders all over the place. He stays close to the side of the mount where SForce is located. He is in the shadows and the creatues cannot see him. He makes it to SForce and asks him what we should do*

*There was still no sign of Shadow.
8it now the hill giants were on the move, making their way down the slope toward the village and the hidden soldiers.
They stopped just short of the village's edge and began to clamor around, assembling more piles of the devastating boulders.
Then, the second dragon circled back over the top of the mountain... But he no longer held Shadow in its grasp.*

*JC is up at SForces perch and he amazed he isnt dead yet. He tells SF we have to get shadow back. JC suggests we wait for the dragon and hill people and dragons kill eachother and then we can go up and find Shadow.*
"Hopefuly it isnt to late SForce. Shadow was the only person with expertise on the sbject" JC says to SF
*SF nods, trying to devise a plan*
