Factions (READ BEFORE VOTING)

Some of you guys have asked us about Factions in DG (originally Morge's idea when he merged with us....Raist is a theif lol). Raistin came up with the idea to start Factions. They are groups in DG that have their own leadership and such, but they are still part of DG!

Best example i can give is that they are a College Fraternaty. They have leaders and members, but they are still part of the main college.

Say I am the leader of Faction X. I lead them, but ultimatly i listen to Raistlin has he is the leader of DG, but since im the leader of Faction X i set my own rules and such for that faction.

Each faction can recruite members outside of DG and all around DC to join. You can use tactics such as join packages etc.

EACH FACTION MUST HAVE THEIR OWN LOGO! This will go in your sig or avitar and represent that you are a true member to that faction.

Each faction will get their own board, the leader of the faction will be moderator of that board and they can post anything they'd like there with their own rules (as long as they abide by DG's rules). We will get you a Board under "Signature Shop". A new category will be created for Factions and Board for each Faction. Faction board order comes in order they have been accepted.

Also upon joining a faction you must remain loyal to them. You may leave a faction at any time but their will be penalties. You will not be able to join that faction ever again and you must wait a certain amount of time before joining another faction.

If you get kicked out of a Faction you may join another faction with no penalty, but note everyone will know why you got kicked out and that will hurt you.

The Faction Leader (FL) will set all rules, guidlines, Faction possitions etc. You may be a DG recruiter but you can be a Faction Co-Leader (Note: Being a high rank in a faction won't change your overall DG rank)

Factions leaders will be monitored by DG higherarchs. Members of Administration and DG leader will not be able to join a faction, but however will oversee what the Faction is doing. (At this moment Paco01, SForce and Raistlin will not join factions do not ask us 2 do so)

All faction members will come together during a general DG thread, poll or situation. We are all DG members and we are all family. However if a Faction wants to have an RP battle with another faction, or wants to know who has the Highest combined skill with DC chars. Then you may do so.

More information and details are to come. This is the general basis of a Faction.

Me and Raistlin wanted to wait till we had more active members. So the more you recruite and the more you get members activly on our forums, the quicker Factions start.

EDIT: This poll is to generate if we have enough active members to start 2 factions. We won't start 1 because we need a rival Faction or 2 choices for people to join. Me and Raist have a set amount of yes votes required and if the votes don't pass that number than we will not be starting factions till the votes pass that amount.

So if you want a faction and you don't pass the number than get other people in here, get recruites and old members back and get them to vote .

Me and Raist have been contacted by some people that they want to lead a faction. We have 2 in mind that would be perfect for opposing factions. Anyone is open to joining any faction. But pick wisely cuz ur in that one for good (leavin is bad, we're gonna enforce not leaving harshly). They will campaign for your recruitment so you may ask/do what ud like and they will try to get u 2 join

You may do so. If they want u in their faction they will do what u ask. Tho obviously high demands they'll see u as a dick and not want u in all together, than both factions wont want you and ull have lost out

lol askin for new gear is an easy/typical demand. don't worry, im sure each faction will have their own join pack as well as offer u gear upon joining etc.

no one has sent u gear from our armory? well no more spam till more people post here. Post ur stats in armory and Morge will hook u up!

I'm all for Factions, but I'd like it if there was a better amount of members. I don't think the Factions would be able to compete with each other well if it's like 2 on 2, or low numbers like that. All in all I'm gonna vote yes personally.

I agree. There's simply not enough activity yet to really get the Faction idea off the ground. Not a bad idea, though.

i vote yes in the long run. but we need more members for something like this.

but heres what i think could be a good idea. for example if i was to lead a faction, id make it mostly for the purpose of having an army for the RP. and i think itd be fine to go to other forums and ask others to come in and join in with that. so that instead of having JUST DG in the factions.... itd be like a full game thing!!

that would bring more ppl to our forums on a daily basis, AND it would probably help ppl to see our name and maybe want to join for real.

so basically. members from DG lead, lets say a total of 3 factions. and the leaders/recruiters of that faction would go out and find new members from all over DC to join into that faction and help create an army. and at that point the 3 factions would go at it in a war!
