So, I got home last night and turned on my computer only to have it pop, sizzle, and start smoking. The damned power supply burnt out.
Now, I'm computer-less until I can get a replacement...

I'm looking around to see if I can find the same type of comp so I can swap parts.
I'm praying I can find one and not have to buy a new one. I don't want Vista on my machine.

LOL It's cool. I just bought the comp from a friend as a secondary machine, but I already have a  -load of music and a lot of files that I'd rather not lose. I know I could just yank the hard drive and put it in something else, but I don't want to drop a few hundred on a comp with an operating system I despise. |
