The Demon Beyond The Flames

~The sky was dark as red lightnight tore through the clouds. The rain poured so rapidly, it turned the ground to a wasteland. Fire spat from the cracks of the earth. Screams could be heard off in the distance. Blood was everywhere as bodies laid before me. My wounds were great as I felt myself growing weak and tired. What was I to do? My friends have fallen around me for the sake of my own life. Was I to die here??~

Feeling tired, I closed the journal and set it aside. I laid my head against my pillow and looked up at my ceiling.

*What a bizzar world we live in* I Thought *To think it was only a few years ago that my brother died in that war. Nothing was left but blood and corpses. I wish I could of been there, but I was too young to do anything. I miss you brother...*

With that in mind I fell asleep. The town was quiet until a loud crash woke me. I rubbed my eyes and tried to see from my bedroom window. Nothing could be seen as I gathered my things and went outside. Something had fallen from the sky. It landed a few houses down from the sign of the smoke. I ran over only to see a winged like demon emerge from the inflamed building. It screamed and looked at me. I readied my sword and it threw a ball of fire at me. I quickly evaded, rolling to the side. It dashed at me as it hit me full force knocking me into another building. I heard people screaming around me as I noticed two massive wounds on my chest from the demons claws. The pain was too much as I blacked out, all I could hear were screams around me, until nothing could be heard.

[Krasor]

"Vigoratus...Vigoratus...Vigoratus...Vigoratus...Vigoratus...Vigoratus...Vigoratus"

~The chanting continued in a steady tone. The words came from a man leaning over the body of the fallen warrior. He wore the clothing of a monk and a hood over his head. From the front his face was obscured my his mid length hair of a dark purple color hanging in front of his face. Within his hands he held a black rosary over the body. As his chanting continued a stream of energy seemed to flow from him and over the fallen warrior moving to the wounds and healing them.~

"Vigoratus...Vigoratus...Vigoratus...Vigoratus...Vigoratus...Vigoratus...Vigoratus"

[Raistlin]

~The crash could be heard from Raist's lab in his tower. He looked out a window and saw a house in flames. The winged demon rose up and roared, but Raist couldn't tell what was exactly going on. He went to his pool of seeing and saw a friend confront it.~

"No! Scott! You can't fight him."

~Raist had to think of what he could do from there. Then Scott was sliced in the chest and knocked back into a house. He sits back and wonders what he has to do.~

[Chaos Creator]

*Shadow watched as a pillar of fire fell from the sky from atop his perch on the highest pinnacle of the DG castle. The resounding crash as it smashed into the house shook the very foundation of the stronghold.
This could not be good.
He jumped from his post, landing lightly upon the ground some 200 feet down, and ran toward the growing commotion.
When he rounded the last corner, he skidded to a halt, surveying the carnage before him.
The demon was advancing on a pair of figures huddled against a building. Its flaming whip trailed across the ground, igniting anything it came in contact with.
He was again running forward before he knew it, charging to the aid of the two in the demon's sights.*

I sunk deep into a nightmare. I was in an empty dried up field but nothing could be seen. Darkness surrounded me, but an image became clear in the distance; it was my brother. He was fighting against a demon as dead bodies appeared around me. I felt sick as I heard my brother yell in pain. He was struck in the chest by the demons tail. I tried to run to him, but I wasn't getting anywhere as my brothers image began to fade. Tears fell from my eyes as I fell to my hands and knees...

My eyes shot open with an evil gleem. Wings sprouted from my back as I dashed off towards the demon in the sky. I tackled him with a roar. I grabbed him by the shoulders and slammed him into the flaming building. We came through the backside wall as I dragged his body across the floor. The demons wings ripped off due to the collision with the ground. We egnited into flames as he demon turned to ash. My body entered a calm state and I soon passed out not remembering the entire event that accured, for in my mind... I was living a dream...

[Chaos Creator]

*He jerked to a stop again, watching the two demons locked in battle. His cold blue eyes told him he was watching a fight that had been brewing for a very long time.*

[Raistlin]

~Seeing what transpired Raist had a smirk on his face.~

"About time you let it loose again, my friend. All the reason why the God Hand and Krasor tried to control you. What a jaded past we have."
