Since its creation in 1408, by the Holy Roman Emperor Sigismund, the order has been charged with the duty of protecting the Cross from the various enemies of Christianity. There came a time, however, when the mortal members of the order could no longer resist the onslaught of the growing number of wicked beings that sought to conquer the earth. When this came to pass, The Order of the Dragon began enlisting the aid of a few otherworldly beings. I was one of them.
Slowly, the original members died out, leaving the remaining immortal members to continue the task of defending the forces of good. And, although the members of The Order of the Dragon are immortal and in some cases damned creatures, they go about their work with a fervor unmatched by other sects. For perhaps they will find their salvation in the works of goodliness to which they are bound...
Hell burns brightly in our path, but our eyes watch the heavens for a sign of our redemption.
