Dez's Dispatch

[SForce]

~SForce sits at his desk, staring at the painting of him on the wall behind his desk. It's a picture of him in the usual heroic possition. Bow on his back, standing with one knee on a rock, shield in front, with sword in the other hand facing downward.~

~He gets a knock on the door and lets the messanger in.~

"I've recieved a note from someone outside of the encampment. His goes by the name of Dez. And he is looking for a job in your military Sir." The messenger says.

~SForce turns around and looks the messenger in the eye. The messenger gets a little nervous, and doesnt know what SForce is thinking.~

"Well let him in then" SForce says to the messenger.

"Right away Sir" And the messenger runs off to where Dez is

~The messenger arives at the gate only a minute later.~

"My Master will see you now" The messenger says, and he walks in the direction of his SForces office.

~Rising slowly, hefting the greataxe known as REnder to his back, thor nods to the messenger and steps insde. Taking a quick look at his surroundings, he grins to the Elf in front of him~

"I huess you're thie chief aroud these parts.. ne of thos I'm being hired to prtoect..."
*takes a quick llook at the painting, thinking it's a mite overdone*
"So, what'll you have the Mjølnir do, to prove me wothry of the post? Slay dragons, demons? ... Paint a picture?"

~Thor winks to the warrior, and leans his back to the wll, waiting.~

"Paint me a picture better then that" SForce says pointing the painting behind him

~He stares at Thor for a moment examining what he has let into his encampment. He can tare apart this place with the hammer he has if he wants to.~

"Well you are the one that wants to be a mercenary here at the Demon Guardians fortress" SForce says to the might person.

Without waiting for a reply "I want you to kill off these bands of orcs that are running rapidly across our nation, slaughtering the innosent, and raiding neighboring towns." SForce says

~SForce waites for a moment.~

"What is your name?"

"Orcs? Gladly..."
~He fets up, takes a bow for the elf~
"My name is Thor Odson, but foes and friends alike know me as The Mjolnir.. and my axe here *swings it around by the handle* is known as Render..."
~Grins happily and slaps the elf on his back, and strats laughing loudly enough for the whole encampment to hear~
"Well.. give me a quick horse, and those orcs will join the horde waiting for me in the last battle, ragnarok!"

~SForce stares at Thor like hes crazy.~

"Please do not touch me, especially cause i dont know you" SForce says to the man

~SForce wonders about his request for a horse, it would help him, but he is way to big.~

"If it is alright, can you please travel without a horse, you seem to be too big to ride on the horse for a long time. And it looks like you'd fair better without a horse. You're a good footsoldier" SForce says to Thor

~Thor takes a step back, loking more closely at SForce, studying him~
"It shall be as you say.. In these parts of the country I'd propably just eat the horse instead *winks* So, commander.. don't tell me.. I won't be getting any ale, money or women before I get back here with the head of the orc leader?" *sighs*
~Starts buckling on weapons, strapping the greataxe across his back, along the bastard sword. Turns around, walks to the door. Stops, looks over his shoulder with pure, white fire in his eyes~

"You're wrong, commander.. I'm not a good footsoldier. I'm a GREAT footsoldier!" *winks and laughs heartily again*

"Weird Asshole, that should've taken care of him for awhile" SForce says to himself

~After sitting their for a moment thinking about the task he has given Thor, he then realizes that Thor has no clue were these orcs are. SForce grins, thinking about how he'd be out in the fields, and woods, alone, not knowing where the orcs are.~

"Silly Guy, he forgot to ask where the orcs are, i just hope he doesnt come back to ask" SForce says with a grin

A couple of days later, thor comes back, covered in blood, bone pieces, and with some scorch marks.

"Uhm... I was going to come back and ask for directions earlier, bu I met up with this young lady, we had a bit to drink, and I ended up gambling with a prissy-looking mage fellow"...

[SForce]

~SForce looks at Thor and sees him in this unhumain condition, but none the less he looks like the type of person i thought he'd look like.~

"So what are you here for?" SForce says to Thor

"Well.. those orcs. If i'm supposed to slay'em, I kind of need a clue on where to start, don't I?"

Thor starts sharpening Render, the greataxe.

[SForce]

"Well, just as a simple question, where do you think that the orcs may be hiding?" SForce says, trying to stall time, or getting Thor bored so he goes away

"Well now.." Thor shrugs, looks emptily into space. "That depends.. if they're a huge lot, they'll not be far from human lands, seeing as they need to steal food to survive.. whereas if they're just many small gangs, they'd be roaming all the lands.."

[SForce]

"Well, there are many bunches of orcs around here that you will have to stop." SForce says with a grin.

"They are hiding in the Cave of Syse, north of the local town. You will scout the area first, and tell me how many soliders you will need with you to help take out the orcs. DO NOT!! take action until you have come back with a report." SForce shouts to Thor

"Dismissed."

Thor slams the door shut behind him, perhaps a little bit too hard. "damn elves.. " *grumbles*

"well, I'll be damned if I'm to take any other men with me to slaughter a bunch of orcs... but it never hurt to take a look."
A couple of days later, Thor finds himself up on a boulder near the Syse cave, scouting the entrance and gripping his greataxe firmly.

~Orcs inside Syse cave went on like any normal day. Slaughtering the occasional deer from the wild, acting like they had no clue what they were doing.~

"When will the attack on the local town be chief?" One of the low ranked orcs said

"We wait until sunset" The chief said with a deep voice

~The orcs decided that they had to get ready for the invasion, so they took up their arms and got ready for the action ahead.~
