How common are Flame Scrolls, and what are their benefits if successfully cast?

their very common
and if you put it on a weapon... there are basically no benefits
but now certain enemies can eat that item and take it from you forever... snakes in azteca and worms can eat flaming gear
flaming DOES add a bit of attack, but its not worth it

the monsters that eat FLAME OR GLOW are:
Anacondas (Azteca)
Worms (Mines)
Sea Serpents (Docks)
these are just a heads up if you ever use weapons with Flames or Glows so you know which monsters to avoid

Flames only adds 10% attack. Glows adds 10% skill. Not really worth it.
