here is how mutch favor you need to get the difrent ranks.
Squire - 100
Knight - 300
Captain - 600
Baron - 1000
Count - 1500
Viscount - 2100
Marquis - 2800
Earl - 3600
Duke - 4500
Prince - 5500
Viceroy - 6600
Regent - 7800
Seneschal - 9100
NOTE: Favor # may change without warning

actually
mingling is the most cost efficient
losing at dice gives u the most favor, but loses lots and lots of money, only works if u have low wits
gaming gives good favor only after 10500 favor
boasting is same as gaming

gaming give good favor if you got lots of guts. if over 300 or was it 400 i heard that it will give more than mingle.

check the rankings, when your done playing, click the little "list" button and alist of your ranking will appear
