[Raistlin]

"I thought you were going to bring ominous words of horror and destruction. What you tell me is a blessing in disguise."

~Knowing that at least YungGun and Guts were confused he elaborated.~

"I know of the relic you speak of. It has many names. It's power to reconstruct a vampire's physiology to that of Cain is well documented. The reason this is a good thing lies in the weaknesses. Not much is known of Tenji, but Cain's history is complete. His weaknesses are known and vulnerable. We can kill him."

~He lowers the amulet and turns to his clansmen.~

"The army is not massive. I'm guessing he has his attention elsewhere mainly. He must not find this stronghold to be of a chief concern to him. Let's make him think twice about his opinion of the Demon Guardians."

~Raist looks over at Shadow.~

"We'll have to see the Leader. You'll get his permission about confronting the enemy before it attacks, or if he will wait till they try to knock down the front gates. Get an audience with Paco, or SForce and see if they'll even permit you back into our folds. In the meantime I'll be preparing myself in my chambers."

~Turning to Guts, Raist places his hand on Guts' shoulder.~

"Keep your gaze out there and all around. Any changes get word to me right away."

~Turning to look back out to the horizon he sees YungGun leaning on the railing.~

"And YungGun, get lost."

~Raist heads for the stairs and says over his shoulder.~

"And stay out of my chambers, lest I have a fire-breathing toad out of you."

[YungGun]

~Yung Gun chuckled~

"You know you cant keep me out of your corridors. Your magic tricks dont scare me"

~Yung Gun headed towards the stairway and looked back at Shadow~

"I need to go do something. Dont die without me"

~Yung Gun laughed and headed down the stairs. He shouted at Raistlin~

"I cant get lost if im forgotten"

[Chaos Creator]

-=Shadow stared off into the distance a moment more, before glancing again to the one called Guts=-

Watch close, Guardian. Tenji's tricks are many...

-=With that, he turned and made his way back down the corridors toward the inner chambers of the castle. Toward the leader's chambers. This would be a reunion to remember for sure...
He turned the last corner and stood before the heavy door. His gloved fist resounded through the chamber when he knocked. Who was in charge of the Guardians these days, he wondered.=-

[GuildM]

"Yeah, whatever. As long as I get a chance to crush something with my sword, I'm good. I'm preety good with this."

He branishes his sword up over his head. Shadow doesn't seem to notice, or just doesn't care. He looks out to the area Shadow was looking at.

"Doesn't seem like they have all that many men down there. The fire isn't big enough for a large army. Maybe a couple thousand, or so. I should get practicing again."

Gripping his sword with both hands he lifted his sword over his head and swung it down within an inch of the floor.

"1." He lifted and swung again. "2." Over and over again. "3. 4. 5. 6.........."

-=As Shadow awaited entrance to the leader of the Demon Guardian's chambers, the fires on the horizon steadily burned higher... and closer. Miles away, on that spot on the horizon, a small legion of all manner of inhuman creatures were smashing through the dense forests, burning everything in their path. Scouts had returned to the squad's leader, Raj Menor, reporting that a cloaked figure had entered a large castle several miles beyond the edge of the forest. Raj, Tenji's second-in-command, smiled wickedly, revealing a mouthful of pointed teeth as he leaned back in his chair.=-

The Master will be most pleased to find hear that we have found the infidel. Prepare the troops for battle.

-=Raj, still grinning, rose from the transportable throne and made his way to his tent. Once inside, he went to a small table in the corner and pulled a black cloth from the onyx scrying orb that rested upon the table. Immediately, the black surface of the ball glowed a deep red. A moment later, an evil voice filled the tent. Had Raist heard it, he would have been able to identify the voice as the one which issued forth from Shadow the day before.=-

What news do you bring me?

-=Raj=- The scouts report that a figure resembeling the Nitewing has entered a fortress not far from here. We are mobilizing momentarily. Shall I alert the others?

-=evil voice=- No. I will issue the commands myself. That fortress will fall, and you will bring Shadow to me.

-=With that, the ball fell dark and silent once again, and Raj replaced the cloth over it, rubbing his temples with one hand. Communicating with the Master always made his head throb. Not that he had any choice. Tenji held things over Raj's head which Raj could not ignore. At times, he truly felt pity for the sole survivor of the Nitewing clan.=-

[Krasor]

"You won't find him in there......."

~He seemed to meld away from the wallcoming into view. He wore his basic assassin clothing complete with his trade mark jester hat. He stepped away from the wall took a few steps down the hall~

"He left a bit ago on some buisness or something like that, not sure what really. But I don't think he'll be back for quite a bit........"

~While he talked he started walking down the hallway~

"Now if you'll excuse me I must confer with Raistlin, if you desire any assastance however, feel free to ask......"

[Chaos Creator]

-=Shadow slammed his fist against the wall, cursing his luck=-

Damn it!
You must be warned as well... There will be a battle very soon. I've brought a plague upon the castle. Any who wish to fight must assemble.

-=growling, he spun and buried a fist into the stone wall. damn these bastards. why wouldn't they just leave well enough alone? he had a distinct feeling he'd be fighting this battle by himself yet again. all he had succeeded in was dragging the Demon Guardians in with him=-

[YungGun]

~Yung Gun walked aimlessly around the castle. He just walked while his mind was somewhere else. As he turned the corner, he saw Shadow quickly spin around and hit the wall. He walked towards him~

"Whats the problem? You look like you just found out your puppy died"

[Chaos Creator]

Sorry. My dog's been dead for over 400 years. Got over 'im a while back, I'm afraid...

No. More that I've doomed the only group that I've identified with at all in the past couple of centuries. I won't let Tenji get near this place...

-=gritting his teeth with the last sentance, Shadow reached under his collar and grabbed at his ancient amulet. bowing his head slightly, his form began to blur, then become somewhat transparant. a moment later, all that was left was a puff of black smoke where he'd been standing=-

[YungGun]

~Yung Gun coughed as the smoke came around him~

"Why doesnt anybody ever wanna stay and talk?"

~Yung Gun looked around~

"oh well"

~He then continued walking~

[Krasor]

~Krasor stepped out of the shadows alongside Yunggun keeping pace with him, the bells of his hat jingling with every step.~

"So...Yunggun, feel like helping me with an experiment? I'll make it worth your while.............."

[YungGun]

~Yung Gun jumped up a little when Krasor spoke~

"Dont do that!"

~Yung Gun stared at the jingling bells~

"Um........yea sure. As long as it doesnt end with me dying or owing you my soul or something like that"

[Krasor]

"Well if you were to die I wouldn't have a test subject, and I already have legal ownership of your soul.............so no, it dosn't involve either of those"

~He pulled a small vial out and handed it to Yunggun, it was a dark blue and flowed like water.~

"All you gotta do is take this and report any side effects, or effects in general, it has on you. I estimate it to take 10 min. to kick in.......if it works that is............"

[YungGun]

~Yung Gun took the vial out of Krasor's hand and looked at it closely~

"What am i going to get out of this?"
