~Yung Gun saw Raistlin began to cough. He tried to walk away to help him, but he disappeard. Yung Gun thought that maybe the fight had been over so he decided to turn back to the castle. As he turned he heard a voice in his head say not yet, and he began to run towards the enemy camp. He run through the thickest shadows, trying hard to not be seen and being careful to not touch the tentacles~

-=Shadow crept around the side of the enemy leader's tent, dispatching the guards almost casually. He slit a small hole in the back corner of the tent with his dagger, then put his eye to the hole. He winced a bit when he saw the scene inside. Raj stood there, donning his battle armor. The other figure was gaunt and frail. It was this figure that had made him wince. It was Tenji himself. And he was in the midst of spell casting. Shadow's only option would be a quick suprise assault, taking out Raj first, then planting his dagger directly into Tenji's throat in a quick reversal movement. That's the way it was supposed to work anyway... At that very moment, the ground beneath their feet began to tremble. Trees began to crack and fall all around as a gigantic chasm ripped straight down the middle of the encampment, threating to swallow up Yung Guns and anyone else that was close enough. From the depths of the black hole, a thundering bellow roared above the din of the rending earth. Tenji had completed his spell. Shadow dropped to a crouch, glancing momentarily in the direction of the deafening raucous. Silently he hoped his clan mates had been nowhere near whatever terror Tenji had unleashed upon this realm. He shook his head sadly for a moment, looking to the ground in dismay. What had he brought to this world? With a sigh, he peered through the hole again, then, stepping back, slashed twin man-height slices in the tent and barged through. The ground continued to shake, but it had subsided to little more than a slight rumble. But the terrible roaring from inside the gaping hole had not lessened at all. In fact, it was growing louder... as whatever it was rose to the surface to wreak it's havoc.=-

~As Yung Gun continued to run to the enemys' camp, he saw Shadow peeking in one of their tents. Just then the ground began to shake and trees were breaking in half. Yung Gun then turned around and saw a giant chasm behind him. He quickly glaced around and saw that he was the closet person to this thing. He looked into Shadow's eyes. Just then he felt himself being pulled backwards. He quickly leaped to the ground and stuck his swords deep into the earth. His feet began to float in mid-air. As he hung on for his life, he heard a deep growling from inside the dark hole. Yung Gun prepared himself for the worse~

-=Shadow's fate had been decided long, long before he entered the tent that night. But for a moment, it seemed that time had slowed to a crawl, as if the fates themselves were holding their breath in anticipation of the outcome of the battle. Shadow came in hard and fast, an attack that would have been executed in the mere blink of a mortal man's eye, but even as his dagger ripped across Raj's throat and arced back toward Tenji's heart, a wave of despair blacker than anything he had experienced rolled over him. His knees buckled and he wavered before the great vampire lord. Images of his lost love flashed before his eyes and he growled in defiance up toward her murderer. But fate was not compassionate this day. Even as Shadow's ethereal self entered through the front of the tent, Tenji's first blow was coming down to meet Shadow's face.=-
