"Great. Running right into them is just my kind of stratagy."
~With his sword behind him Guts ran full speed into the mass of soldiers ahead of them. He saw YG slicing away and magic flow from Raist. Shadow was moving as swiftly as his namesake. Guts, on the other hand, displayed his namesake by rushing straight through the body of the army chopping whatever was around him. One after another the soldiers fell. Some held up their swords to block, but it was a useless effort. The swords would be split in half along with the rest of their body.~
"Isn't there someone worth my fight?"
~At that remark he found himself deep into the army surrounded. Thinking he would have a fun time swinging his sword around watching little soldiers fall he was surrprized to see them hold back. Some of them stepped off to the side to usure in a large, battle axe wielding ogre.~
"Now I'll have some fun."

-=having abandoned his position atop the now defunct ram, Shadow proceeded to his next tactic... mass, simultaneous murder. Drawing his dagger across his tongue, he spoke a magical word and melted into the shadows. His black pendant glowed a deep red from within as he slipped from shadow to shadow, popping out only long enough to inflict one or two small wounds in several enemies's limbs. Before anyone could swing at him, or even loose an arrow in his general direction, he had slipped back into the void between light and dark and moved on to inflict more small wounds, slowly spreading the poison of his own cursed vampiric blood to the other vampires and their minions like a disease. Having knicked at least 2/3 of the frontal assault force, he slipped from the shadow of a tree and spoke a gutteral command, activating the magic in his Assamite blood that now also flowed through the veins of most of the expeditionary group, and causing it to attack the victims own blood and effectively boiling them from the inside out=-

~There were shimmers in the air as Krasor would appear and end there life, quickly, and without so much as the enemy seein him. Many were brutally mutilated by the twisted edges of the Mystletainn swords the poison coursing through others causing them to writher and scream in agony. while another batch stood for an eternium frozen into place as stone, horrified looks upon there faces of their screaming as their innards had slowly turned to stone.~
"Enjoying the potion are we now?"
~He appeared beside Yunggun for a momentlooking over to see if the full effects had kicked in yet, before cloaking away again into more enemies.~

-=The now decimated frontal assault now mostly lay on the ground writing and screaming in agony. The remaining were quickly beating a retreat into the forest, headed back to their temporary headquarters. Shadow was in pursuit immediately, dodging past trees and the undergrowth, in hopes of slipping in amongst their confusion, and continuing his path of destruction straight to Tenji's second in command.=-

~Yung Gun grinned when Krasor spoke to him. He tried to answer back but he wanted to fight more. He saw that the remaining army begun to retreat. This had really upset him. He started to run towards the now scarred army. When he got close he leaped in the air and took out his bow. He rapidly shot 20 arrows. As the arrows fell, he fell with them. Once the fir arrow struck a solider in the chest, Yung Gun quickly took out a sword and finished him off. One man leaped towards Yung Gun. Yung Gun smiled and quickly appeared behind the man and put a sword straight through his back.~
"Kill............"

~The Ogre let out a loud roar and swung his mighty axe down at Guts. He jumped back and traded swings with him for a minute. As their weapons clashed the burst of force was pushing the nearby soldiers back. Guts got bored though. He blocked the axe and swung it to his right then shot five arrows into the Ogre's face. Blinded by the arrows Guts then spun around and chopped the creature in half.~
"Now, where were we."
~The solders then saw other solders running past them and they decided to do the same.~
"Where do you think you're going. I wasn't done yet."
~He threw a couple daggers to kill some of them while he chased after them.~

~On seeing some soldiers retreat Raist began walking behind them. He stopped for a second remembering the archers in the dark. He removed a small vial from a pocket and tossed it in the air in their direction. He pointed a finger at it and shot a small lightning bolt from his finger. The vial broke open and released a cloud over them. It grew to encompass them overhead. The cloud was gray with a hint of green. When it was done growing it began raining down acid rain on them. Raist walked away as they reeled in agony. He listened with pleasure to their screams.~

-=The enemy soldiers beat their way through the forest back the way they had come, Shadow silently following, his many years of assassin's training coming into play moreso than ever. As the soldiers filtered their way back into the camp, he perched upon the limb of a massive oak tree, and watched, gathering a general idea of the layout of the encampment. Most of the enemy passed to the left of the rows of makeshift tents, with only a few, bearing the insignia of Tenji's army, filtering through the tents toward the right, southern end of the camp. He knew where they were going. They were the individual squad commanders on their way to report to their general. That was where he was going, too. He dropped to the ground and dispatched two of the nearest fleeing soldiers with a couple of swift strokes of his dagger, and walked calmly in the direction of the field commander's tent.=-

~As Guts headed after the fleeing soldier he noticed Raist following after. To the right he also saw YG, with a huge smile on his face, full of blood lust. Further ahead he saw the slightest vision of a jester hat bouncing from one enemy to another leaving the last one dead.~
*All these clansmen rushing head long into what might be their certain death, all because another member comes looking for help. It's been years since I've found this kind of family.*
~The thought fueled his stamina and pushed him further into the heart of their forces.~

-=Shadow slipped along the edges of the tents like a corporeal wraith, silent and full of wrath. Every so often, a soldier would come up behind him, but it was quickly dispatched with a flick of Shadow's wrist, the dagger he used always dancing into a vital area. He peeked around the edge of the last row of tents and saw the command tent, teeming with Raj's elite guard. This wasn't going to be as easy as he had thought. That's when it struck him that something was slightly off about the situation. There were too many guards around that tent. Raj was a fighter himself. He didn't rely upon the guard as heavily as some of the others in Tenji's foul regiment. Someone else must have joined Raj for this venture. And someone important by the looks of it. He slid back behind the edge of the tent to think for a moment. If there was a new player in this scenario, they may have brought reinforcements with them. But who could have come? And how big a force did Tenji deem necessary to capture Shadow's head? He knew in that instant where the other foot soldiers were headed when they ran to the left of the encampment. They were linking up with the inbound reinforcements. He had to get back and warn his fellow Demon Guardians before they ran headlong into something they couldn't get out of. He broke into a sprint back through the rows of tents, coming back to the edge of the forest where he had come through just as his comrades broke through the trees=-
There's a bigger army waiting out that direction -=pointing in the direction of the fleeing soildiers=-
And there's somebody else involved, now. I'm not sure who. Tenji is a resourceful and powerful undead fiend. I'm almost worried to see who it could be... Any suggestions as to a course of action, gentlemen?

~Arriving at the end of the forest to the encampment he listened to what Shadow had to say.~
"Enough of this. I'm not going to sit around and tolerate a strike on us. I will show them the storm they have committed themselves to walking into."
~Raist pushed himself past past Shadow. Standing on the brink of the encampment he closed his eyes and concentrated. He held his hand up in the air and opened his eyes. They burned with the passion of his magic as he spoke.~
"Kair tangus miopiar." His right hand glowed reddish orange. "Ast kiranann kair gadunrm soth-arn suh kali jalaran"
~A thick bolt of lightning thrusted up from his hand. There was also a spinning ring of flaming balls around it. When it struck the clouds they began to thunder. They changed to an orange-ish color. Fire rained down on the encampment. Purple lightning blasted the ground. All the while Raistlin stood in a ring of fire blazing with magical energy.~

Inside this small shack that he calls home it was dark. He rattled his chains that kept him from transforming on nights like this and raviging his fellow clansmen. He heard a loud crash of thunder and saw that a small flash was visible in his shack. He saw that one of his walls had a small crack. He looked closer. He could see the sky a little. Enough to see the clouds and the full moon.
"Damn it. No!"
The change began. It over came him. His shackles were popped off him when his girth grew. He thrusted forward blasting the doors to the ground. The guards at the gate new to just open the gates quickly. The last thing they want is a caged werewolf on their hands. He dashed out and ran for the forest. He could hear the thunder crashing down further on the road. He ran towards it to see a mage holding his hand up. His blood thirsty nature pushed him faster to his kill. He lunged at the mage only to be his by a barrier of fire that thrusted him over the mage's head. He landed in the enemy camp. The guards ran around avoiding the fire and lightning. When they got close to him Minion would swipe off their heads. He would dine well tonight.

~Seeing the magic display awed Guts, but he's seen a lot since meeting the Demon Guardians. What Raistlin does just makes life that much more fun. Guts moves to a point along the camp site and watches as men run around either getting ready to attack, looking for what to attack, or getting slautered. He takes aim with his crossbow and shoots. Every arrow is well placed straight at the heart. Remembering that some, or all, of the soldiers could be vampires he makes sure his hits kill.~

-=Shadow, having kneeled upon the ground at the beginning of the magic show, watched the fire intently, letting it lull him into a meditative state. He would need all the concentration he had to commit his next ritual assassination, for it meant using three of his own powerful vampiric magics at once, something that would truly drain his energy. The appearance of a werewolf into the scene barely registered upon him, although it's presence did not go completely unnoticed. It was common knowledge that werewolves and vampires were not on the greatest terms. It was a battle that had raged for ages, back to the time of Caine and Abel. This would prove interesting. Shadow pushed the thoughts from his head and went deeper into his trance. The fire would make his first spell somewhat less effective than before, but the way it danced cast even stranger shadows for the spell to work with. He chanted an ancient verse under his breath, and the amulet around his neck began to resonate and emit an almost completely black glow. Suddenly, huge black tentacles sprouted from almost every shadow, writhing and moving hideously as the fires twisted the light. The tentacles snatched soldiers from tents seconds after that tent had been torn away by other tentacles. Vampires and ghouls ran screaming as the reaching appendages pierced into them and sucked their blood from them, leaving them empty husks upon the ground. Shadow stood, the amulet still giving off it's eerie tone and light, and glanced to Raistlin and tossed him a wink.=-
I go to see if I can sever the head from the body of this snake of an army. It has been good to make your acquaintance, Mage.
-=With that, he vanished into the black smoke, but his own shadow still stood where he had been just moments before. The shadow sprinted forward through the fires intent upon finding the target his master had set forth to destroy. At the same time, a mysterious darkness began to fall across the encampment as shadows began to roll along the remaining tents, pouring out of the trees like a deadly fog. It ate through anything it touched, melting the enemy's encampment as if flowed. The soldiers burst into flame as the shadows touched their undead flesh, and it merely disentegrated the ghouls, burning the skin and tissues away until there was only bone. The tentacles had began to depart in search of more victims and the fog cleaned up after them.=-

~The flames dissipated. The lightning ceased. The clouds changed color back to normal. The ring of fire around Raist died as he nearly collapsed to the ground. He clutched tightly to his staff to keep himself somewhat standing. He gasped for air as he addressed the group.~
"I have.... spent myself. I *cough, cough* have to rest."
~He's doubled over with a fit of coughing. He covered his mouth with a napkin he had. Removing it he saw it stained with blood.~
"I must withdraw.... for now. If I can.... regain.... my strength.... I may return. *cough, cough, hack!*"
~Raist used what strength he had left to travel the corridors of magic. Returning to his quarters in the castle he grabbed a pot of hot water he keeps on the fire. He made his tea and drank it before collapsing in his bed.~
